Tiered Dessert Stand

My project folder has been growing daily, and now that I joined the Pinterest movement it is a little out of control. One of the project I finally got to is a tiered stand. I have seen so many tutorials on how to make these and finally found one I had to copy.

All I needed was a clearance melamine plates from Target, a brass candlestick from a 2nd hand shop( just make sure it unscrews in at least one place), and an adorable knob from Hobby Lobby and my tiered stand took shape.

Here is the final result....
I think the owl approves

  1. Good idea. I like your color scheme and the print on your plates. Did you hot glue everything together?

  2. Thanks Casa De Luna. If you find the right candlesticks they will unscrew unto 2 pieces, or some 3. And then when you drill the holes in the plate you just rescrew the candlestick back together and it holds it all.

  3. Love this. I've seen a lot of tiered stands but I love your plate choices and the fact that you drilled the plates. I have a link party on Tuesdays {The Inspiration Board} and I’d be thrilled if you linked this up. I know my readers would really enjoy it. Hope to see you there.

  5. I love this! I also like that you drilled the plates. It seems more foodsafe than the glue and spray paint. This is probably the prettiest version of the tiered plates that I've seen. Thanks so much for sharing!

Stopping by from Eisy Morgan ...
